Oxford Food Hub (formerly Oxford Food Bank) collects surplus fresh food and redistributes it to over 100 other charities who feed the local community, reducing waste and supporting people across Oxfordshire. Help us to make a difference today.

Story

Four of us are  going on holiday with Swimtrek to swim 5k a day for 5 days around the Greek Cyclades Islands. I am celebrating this by asking for your support in fundraising for the Oxford Food Bank and I have been a proud driver for them for over two years. This is an amazing and unique charity, manned entirely by volunteers who collect over five tons of fresh food from supermarkets and suppliers every week which would otherwise go into landfill. We deliver to over 30 local charities in Oxford every day of the year, who then cook healthy meals for some of the neediest people in our community. This brilliant venture was started by Robin and David five years ago and they have just been awarded MBE's in the birthday honours list! Please help us to continue this essential work. Every donation large or small makes a huge difference. Thank you so much and enjoy the photos from last year with Swimtrek in Croatia.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to The Oxford Food Bank, including Gift Aid whoever possible.
