On Saturday 3rd July, we are donning our wetsuits and jumping into the Thames to swim a mile to raise some money for the National Association for Crohn's and Colitis.
We are taking part in the Great British Swim and we would love it if you could dig deep into your pockets and help us to achieve our target of £300 for this charity that is very close to our hearts. As most of you know, both Paul and Livi are Crohn's Disease 'survivors', and whilst they both now view themselves as 'success stories', they have both had their ups and downs and would love to see diagnosis and treatment improve even further for this so far incurable disease!
Therefore, Sarah and Olivia have set themselves the not insignificant challenge of a) donning a wetsuit in public b) splashing around in the 'clear' waters of the Thames and c) trying to swim alongside hundreds of other competitors and beat our target time of under an hour....and we would welcome any cheerleaders on the day - all those who are London based - no excuses!!! We shall confirm the time of our swim closer to the day.
A huge thank you in advance for any donations that we receive and we hope to see you there, a long cool Pimms is definitely going to be in order afterwards!
Lots of love
Sarah and Olivia
