Sarah martin is raising money for Deen Relief International

Wellness week · 4 May 2020

Our Aid for Africa project aims to fundraise towards providing running and drinkable water for unsupported children and youth in Gambia, West Africa.

Story

The Greater Banjul area is experiencing its worst water supply shortage in 10 years. The high demand outweighs the supply and frequent servicing of the machinery can result in low water pressure or no water supply completely for up to 10 days in the SOS Childrens Village and Youth Home. This restricted use of water has led to the shortage of clean water for drinking and washing, restricted access to toilets and showers, as well as the lack of water to maintain the gardens in the village. Deen Relief will be fully sponsoring the installation cost of two boreholes in the Childrens Village and Youth Home which will ensure the health, hygiene and wellbeing of children, SOS Parents and other staff in the SOS Village Community and Youth Home. We hope to get your continuous donations and support to make this project a success. www.deenrelief.org "A man's true wealth is the good that he does in this world"
