The Pilgrims hospice, is an amazing team of staff and volunteers who have looked after Sarah both as an inpatient and outpatient since her diagnosis with secondary breast cancer in September 2017. Care provided was not only medical but included physio, massage, crafting and counselling sessions. They have also supported us as a family. They saved her life when she was first admitted in October 2017 when Dr Kennedy identified that she had sepsis within hours of being admitted. She went on to be admitted again in September 2019, again discharged and was with us at home until Saturday 11 January and passed away peacefully on Tuesday 14 January. 

At Sarah's request she didn't want any flowers, instead she wanted donations to be made to the Pilgrims Hospice.
