Story

Sarbjit "Sarb" Singh Dhanoa
attempts to break the WORLD RECORD of “Most Half Marathons” completed in 30 days.

Currently, the record is held by Salacnib Molina - Minnesota USA who achieved 20 in 2020.

Sarb is a local businessman who has dedicated his whole life to his family and will be attempting this record in honour of his late dog and best friend, Jack, who passed away a month ago and will be fundraising for a local homeless charity, NishkamSWAT.

Starting on the 1st of September 2022, Sarb is planning to run every day. Sarb will be running locally with an authorised and measured route. He is hoping to inspire local people to run with him for however long they wish.

Sarb wants to leave a legacy and inspire others. He said, ‘It’s very good for your wellbeing and mental health.’ His youngest son, Savraj has already challenged his dad to break his record.

Sarb only ‘started running during the lockdown’ and said he ‘found it easy’. Now that the lockdown is over, running has become more challenging but he remains in high spirits and is ‘ready to break the world record’!
