Story
Hi! I am part of Unicef on Campus Aberystwyth, which is a small society whose aim is to fundraise for Unicef UK. We are taking part in 'Live Below the Line', which will be our last fundraising event for this academic year. Unicef's role is to ensure children around the world are protected, by providing them with vaccinations and education. In times of war and disaster, Unicef provides life-saving food, clean water and medical care, as well as education and protection from violence and exploitation.Unicef works in 190 countries around the world, and vaccinated 23 million children in 2015 alone.
Together, we can all make a difference.
Live Below the Line, for us, is to live on £1 a day, for 5 days. Sadly many families across the world have to live below the line, struggling to feed themselves and their families. This event is to raise awareness, and fundraise for Unicef UK.
