Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Both my mother and my grandmother were lucky enough to receive palliative care at home from the Martlets Hospice. Thanks to their dedicated and professional care they were able to die peacefully at home surrounded by their home comforts, pets, family and friends. The Martlets have also extended their services to the whole family. Both myself and my auntie have been lucky enough to receive respite, relaxation treatments and bereavement counselling. Losing a loved one is possibly one of the hardest challenges life can throw at you, but the Martlets are there to support you every step of the way. Now it's my turn to support the Martlets Hospice and the priceless work that they do. So on Saturday 13th June in memory of my mum and my grandmother I'm doing the 13 mile Martlet's Midnight Walk!
