Sasseknackered South West Adventurers for Devon Air Ambulance

Reviving the Sasseknackered Team from previous Scottish and Irish challenges, in June and July this year the combined efforts of young and old from the Munro-Lott, Erritt, Coombs and Fieldwick families will between them tackle two of the Southwest’s toughest adventure challenges:
● The Three Peaks Yacht Race (3 Peaks Yacht Race | Nearwater Events) Bringing together sailing, running and cycling round and over Cornwall and Devon; and
● The formidable Croyde Ocean Triathlon (Croyde Ocean Triathlon North Devon Sunday 10 July 2022 Enter now!)
Swimming, cycling and running the hills and coastline of Devon.

We’re doing this because it’s fun (!) but primarily as an opportunity to raise much needed funding for the Devon Air Ambulance.

Some of you may be already aware that last August Elaine, whilst out walking with Peter, Sarah and Andy in Croyde, suffered a cardiac arrest. Thanks to the rapid intervention of the Air Ambulance paramedics and supporting services she defied the odds and survived, and is well on the way to recovery. Air Ambulances across the country rely on publicly donated funds to provide their life-saving services and Devon is no exception.

We’ll be pacing ourselves to ensure the Air Ambulance isn’t required again but any donation you can make will make a difference for somebody out there, as it has done for all of us.
