We are lucky enough to be celebrating our son Seva Singh's 1st Birthday this year on the 22nd September 2018.

Unfortunately, every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer.  This means someone's partner, son, daughter, brother, sister, father or mother is suddenly faced with a battle for survival that cannot always be successfully treated with medicines or therapies.  Sometimes they will need a blood stem cell donation.

DKMS are dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. Their mission is to provide a matching donor for every blood cancer patient in need of a blood stem cell donation.

To make this happen they raise awareness, recruit and retain potential blood stem cell donors to provide a second chance of life, raise funds to match donor registration costs, and improve blood cancer therapies by their own research.

Ethnic donors are specifically needed.  Less than 5% of donors are from Black/Asian/Minority Ethnic backgrounds.  Please help us readdress this balance.

We have been blessed with so many gifts in our life.  So on the happy occasion of our Son's 1st Birthday, we would humbly request that rather than bringing us any more, you consider making a donation to this fundraising page instead.  No amount is too small.
