Story

For this Challenge I am going to be taking on 3 personal challenges in the UK to raise money for Dynamic Wrexham, a charity for young people with disabilities in Wrexham.

I have worked with Dynamic through the last year and in that time I have seen the staff and volunteers delivering services for the young people throughout the whole lockdown, whether group sessions on zoom, delivering care packages for families, respite, restoring normality  and socialising aspect during the lockdown, the staff have worked tirelessly, and the young people are very appreciative. After being able to witness the effect of the charity myself it only seems fitting that I do some fundraising to help support the cause.

In this Trilogy-challenge I aim to push myself outside of my comfort zone, I will be tired from walking further than I have before, I will wild camp, run, walk and even take on the beautiful yet inhospitable Cuillin Ridge Traverse.

My First Challenge The Llangollen Round.
(54KM),
this huge walk covers completely around Llangollen, the route starts in Carrog and covers both sides of the Valley in the Ultra distance route! Completed Saturday 10th July ✅

My second Challenge will be the Keswick Mountain Festival Trail Half Marathon (and a bit) 25km, Technical fast flowing and rugged trails around Derwent Water and the Borrowdale Valley with the Watendlath Valley thrown in for good measure. Saturday 11th September.

The Third and Final Challenge will be the Full Cuillin Ridge Traverse, the most challenging scrambling expedition you can undertake. I will be fully guided for this expedition and taking it on Mon/Tue27th/28th September . As this is a guided undertaking the date could change due to weather or midge forecast and I will keep this up to date.

All donations are appreciated and help fund the services Dynamic has to offer in Wrexham. I would also greatly appreciate it if you could give this a share Facebook, Instagram, or any other platforms to get it out there to others.
