Story

Hey All - Welcome to this years challenge to raise money for Children in Need, as usual this will contribute to the Geneva Appeal for Children in Need 2009, that raises money for the BBC Children in Need, and also Paidos and Clair Bois - two Geneva based childrens charities

The 2009 challenge is the aptly named " National Three Peaks Challenge" - the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours!  We will be starting in Scotland at 5pm on Saturday 18th July with Ben Nevis (the longest hike and highest of the three at 1344 metres), then bomb it down to the Lake District for Scaffel Pike (978 metres) before the trek over to Wales, avoiding leeks and sheep, to finish with Snowdon (1085 metres)...if all goes to plan we will be back in the van by 5pm Sunday 19th.  Logistics & driving are being planned to perfection by Daddy Scaife, so all that can go wrong is that we fall foul of blisters, lack of fitness, or get lost on one of the hills!!  highly likely :-) The Scaife siblings and friends are all doing this together, a group of 8 in total with two support crew on top - so we are absolutely guarantee to have at least one family row whilst on a mountain !!! All adds to the fun hey!!!

Thanks for your ongoing support to help raise money for some great charities - you are all just totally lovely!!
