So I've been roped in to running a half marathon along with two of my colleagues in the branch. We knew about this months ago, but still did no training and its now 4 weeks away! We are running for a fantastic charity called NOAH. NOAH help some of the most disadvantaged people in our town, mainly those who are homeless, rough sleepers, those that are socially excluded and people who have fallen into poverty. They provide a Daily Soup Kitchen for local homeless people in the town, provide advice for arranging accommodation, advice on income support as well as providing clothing, medical and dental care. We really want to help support this charity and will be running various fundraising events in the Santander Luton Branch throughout October to raise awareness and funds for the fantastic cause.
