Story

a

On 1st May 2015, our little family was dealt a massive blow when our beautiful wife and mummy was diagnosed with grade 4 metastatic breast cancer (there is no grade 5!).

Helen is currently in the middle of a long and grueling chemotherapy regime at The Christie, Manchester, of which is making her fell less than dandy. However she is doing this not for herself, but to allow all of those who love her the chance of precious extra time with her.

Whilst Helen will never be cancer free, she is doing everything she can to fight every step of the way. Apart from her amazing friends and family supporting her through this, she is also being provided amazing care from The Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Backford (www.hospiceofthegoodshepherd.com). They are allowing both Helen and her family a little light on what otherwise is a very dark room.

In order to say thank you, Helen's friends and family are organising a Charity Cricket Match and Family Fun Day at Christleton Cricket Club on Sunday 30th August 2015. All money raised will help the hospice continue to provide care and support for families like Helens.

This page has been created in order to allow all of those not able to attend on the day, but who feel that they want to contribute in some way.

Thank you for your love and support. It means so much.x
