A very close friend of mine, her daughter Amelia´s life was saved by the remarkable doctors and nurses at Sheffield Children´s Hospital when she was only 5 weeks old.  Having a child that has suffered a cardiac arrest makes you realise how precious life is and how we take it for granted.

The Hospital is undergoing a 10 million pound extension to provide new facilities and equipment to help children have a brighter future and the best possible chance in life.

We are lucky that this country has wonderful facilities like the Children´s hospital, however, these organisations only survive through the generosity of the public.
