Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
James was 29 when he died of a brain tumour. He was an adventurer. He was a nurse in the RAF. He was a charitable man who, with his friends, raised £30,000 for brain tumour research in the 2 years between his diagnoses and his death . James and Scott were friends for a lot of years and made a lot of memories together. James ran several marathons himself and always encouraged people to challenge themselves. Scott is running an Ultramarathon (33 miles) and a marathon in memory of James and to raise money for the James Clifford Campling Trust.
The charity aims to put money into brain tumour research to try and find a cure for this awful illness. People do not recover from a glioblastoma. Brain tumours also kill the more people under 40 than any other cancer.
The charity also aims to support anyone with a life limiting condition to achieve their life goals (bucket list) along with providing a place for people to relax and talk.
