Fundraising for Havens Hospices
Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year I completed a life long ambition to complete my first London Marathon and I have been presented with another fantastic opportunity to run the event again on behalf of Havens Hospices.
When somebody has been told that there is no cure for their loved one's illness, this charity is there to ensure that they make that person's life as comfortable as they possibly can.
I have always been aware of the hard work and compassion that Havens Hospices provides to people within my local community. However, they became close to my families hearts when a life long friend became terminally ill and received fantastic support from this charity.
I need to put in some serious training over the next 10 weeks as I was only told of my place within the Haven Hospices' team at the end of January. Nethertheless I am determined to cross the finish line for them come April!
