Story

SCOTT'S STORY

In July 2012 I was diagnosed with cancer, at this stage they were not sure what type of cancer I had, it wasn't until September 2012 when I visited The Royal Marsden where it was confirmed I had Soft Tissue Rhabdomysarcoma, where immediate and intense Chemotherapy treatment started.

My Chemotherapy lasted until February 2013, during this time I also had 26 cycles of Radiotherapy starting January 2013.

The good news came in March 2013 when I was told I was disease free, but started on Maintenance Chemo until August 2014.

Due to the cancer and treatment I have now lost the sight in my right eye, but the outlook for the future is looking positive.

Due to my treatment at the Royal Marsden I am doing the Marsden March to give something back as a thank you, and to help others in need. Also joining me will be my partner charley McDonald ,mum and dad (Liz and Nick Taylor), my 2 brothers (Matthew and Shaun Taylor), their partners (Bethan Sommerfield and Katie Johnson), and my Good friends Verity Rigden , Emma Whiley , Laura Utting and Jodie Brown
