Isle of Wight Challenge 2015 · 2 May 2015 to 3 May 2015 ·

The Art Room works with over 500 children each week in socially deprived areas of the UK. Using art as therapy we offer respite from the difficulties they face. We help them reengage with their education and support them in gaining confidence and independence as they learn and achieve through art.

Story

Thank you for taking time to visit my JustGiving page.  In May 2015, I took on a 66-mile ultramarathon - the Isle of Wight challenge - to raise funds for the charity, The Art Room. I successfully raised over 4,000 Pounds.

A decade on, Piers took on a different marathon - against the odds - by writing his Autobiography, "Rock Bottom". This is due to be published in June 2015.

Piers has decided to overtly support the charity YoungMinds by gifting an escalating percentage of his royalties from Rock Bottom. YoungMinds will also benefit from Gift Aid from Piers' personal donations.

Piers remains passionate about the well-being of young people and mental health in wider society.
