New blog - http://sealordc2c.blogspot.co.uk/
What started as a simple conversation about riding into work turned into a planned event, though nobody knows who had the original idea! We have 2 keen cyclists in the team with all the gear (Stu and Paul) and two relative novices with no idea (Steve and Shane) - it should be interesting.
We are hoping to have a support driver/medic. He/she will also be taking the pictures, writing the blog and ensuring we have beer for the end of the day. If not, we'll be carrying it all ourselves!
We plan to cycle around 60 miles each day, with overnight stops near Kendal and Richmond.
We wanted to raise money for a local charity and, following a colleague's need to be air-lifted to hospital this year, the air ambulance seemed like a logical choice. Please give generously, bearing in mind the fantastic work they do and how hard this going to be - especially for Shane!
