My name's Sean Davies, the Features Editor @ FingerGuns.net and a Heart Failure Analyst at the University Hospital of North Midlands. 

I recently attended an event which focused on domestic violence, a dramatically under reported issue in the UK. This issue effects millions every year and after having my eyes opened to the effect that this can have on people's lives, I decided I wanted to do try and help in my own small way. 

One of the agencies I spoke to at the event was Arch (North Staffs) which help support Families deal with the effects of Domestic Viloence within Stoke-on-Trent, my home city. Their work is imperative to women, children and even men fleeing domestic viloence. 

To raise some funds, I'll be doing a 24 Hour gaming marathon playing nonviolent games (list to be published later) which will be streamed via Twitch to hopefully raise awareness on Domestic Viloence and raise some funds for Arch.
