Swim in the Serpentine today. Wetsuit felt great; nervous about distance though. Hours to come in the pool...

First bike puncture today. Fair to say will focus on running this weekend. And speedier tyre changes.

First swim in a long time today. I'm suddenly much more nervous about swimming the Thames!

I am one lucky, lucky fella. Almost 25% of the way there already; and I only have to wear *one* temporary tattoo!

Another 100km+ training week in the bag!

This is my second charity undertaking for the year; after completing the Edinburgh Marathon for Mental Health Foundation in the summer.  I've now turned to the triathlon as the next challenge I wish to complete, and although I only usually venture into East London armed and dangerous, this time I'll have only a pair of swim goggles, a bike and my slow, slow legs to protect me.

I really struggle fundraising as I don't like asking people for money at the best of times (no, you cannot borrow money from me because of this) - so above and beyond the usual thanks that I give you for donating to such a worthy cause, I also want to thank you for every cent or penny donated - I am truly, truly thankful for it.
