The DNRC will provide clinical rehabilitation for the armed forces and civilians. It will combine neurological, complex trauma and a full suite of rehabilitative facilities together on one site, bringing benefits that could make the establishment unique in the world.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Thursday 8th November 2018, I will be flying out to Atlanta, Georgia (USA) to compete in this years Worlds Toughest Mudder! The event starts at 12pm Saturday 10th November and the finish line will close officially at 13:30pm on Sunday 11th November (25.5 hours after starting!!)

Worlds Toughest Mudder is the most extreme, insane, imposing, pulse pounding, heart stopping 24 hour obstacle course challenge on the planet!

Worlds Toughest Mudder is a 5 mile circuit race, peppered with 25 of Tough Mudders biggest, baddest and most insane obstacles. The aim of the event in for participants to continuously run the loop and overcome the obstacles/challenges for a straight 24 hour period. Last years winner totalled an official total mileage of  110 miles within the 24 hours.

My target is to reach 75 miles and stay on course for the whole 24 hours.

This is going to be my biggest challenge to date, something that I have been training for since February. I feel I am physically ready however I don't know if I am mentally prepared for what is to come! However it will be nothing compared to what all the military men and woman who served and sacrificed so much for our country have been through.

Any donation that you can give will make a big difference and will be greatly appreciated.

See you all on the other side!
