Virgin London Marathon 2011 - Applying for a charity place · 17 April 2011 ·

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Story

Hi, thanks so much for visiting my page. I hope you are able to support my efforts to raise money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, a local charity to us in Princes Risborough. 5 years ago I completed the London Marathon and am looking to repeat the feat this year, but in a faster time! Hearing Dogs offer deaf people the confidence, support and security to undertake everyday activities, and of course the superb companionship a loving dog provides. Your support means everything both in motivating me and to the fabulous people at Hearing Dogs. Thank you so much.
