I am taking part in the expedition organised by 3Thirtyseven a charity organisation whose aims are to alleviate poverty in Africa by inviting women of African heritage to join organised expeditions and outdoor activities for the purposes of fundraising for registered charities which provide charitable aid in their African country of heritage. I have selected Gumboots as a charity closer to my heart; Gumboots's goal is to empower children through education, both formal and informal, whilst also ensuring that their basic needs are met by providing food, shelter, healthcare and recreation

I came to know Gumboots charity 2/3 years ago and I am truly touched about the amazing job they do for the children of my home country. I am 100% self funding for the trip and the proceed of your donations will go to Gumboots charity.

Coming from Africa to live in London I am more than previledge so I decided to do something for my Country ; giving back to the society.
