Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. I feel extremely lucky and privileged (not to mention amazed) to have been chosen to take part in the Virgin London Marathon 2015. Now I just have to knuckle down and stick to some serious training between now and April as I’ve never run a marathon before! Apart from trying to achieve a finishing time of 3 hours 40 minutes or less, my aim and incentive for taking on this challenge is to raise £1,500 for Cancer Research UK. I used to be a smoker before realising the error of my ways and swapping a harmful activity for the more healthy addiction of running. Joining in the battle against cancer is something that I care passionately about, even to the extent of giving myself severe blisters! I hope that you can give something to help me along the way to my goal. Thank you!
