Help Croydon Health Charity fund therapeutic and fun play areas for children who need hospital treatment in Croydon. From climbing walls and basketball hoops to 'chill spaces' for teenagers, help us bring play to some of Croydon's sickest children.

Story

Since joining Croydon Health Services in 2018, I have felt very supported by the Trust and proud to be part of #TeamCroydon.

Along with four other colleagues from across the Trust I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of our Trust's dedicated charity.

My training is already well underway and I am enjoying getting fit in the Pulse NHS gym. I'm training solo and am determined to achieve a personal best of under 2 hours.

Your support would mean a lot.

Thank you, Sereesha

52,000 young people living in Croydon require NHS care each year, for conditions ranging from diabetes to cancer. Play is a vital part of development for children and brings joy to little ones on a daily basis. Two-year-old Freddie is no different. However, like 1 in 10 young people in Croydon, he suffers with a respiratory condition that makes his breathing more difficult and has resulted in three hospital admissions. As part of the development of our brand new children's care unit, we are creating fun, therapeutic play spaces for young people. Many children find coming in to hospital scary and with your support, we can alleviate their fears and provide a welcome distraction from the often serious and long term illnesses they are living with. With your support, we can make these ambitions a reality.
