Nick Jenkins asked if I wanted to join him on a pier-to pier-swim in Bournemouth.  I thought we were talking a few hundred metres which wouldn't require any training and I'd just pop along with my swimming things.  I've now discovered it's 1.4 miles so would really appreciate your moral, and financial, support for a very worthwhile cause.
