Plymouth Hospitals Charity raises money so that NHS Trust staff can provide the best possible healthcare, above and beyond NHS funding. You donations are used to improve the experience of patients and families visiting hospitals and the staff that care for them.

Story

On Sunday 9th May, a team of sixth formers from Chew Valley School will complete the Bristol 10k race in memory of their friend Serhat Gonen.

Serhat was a vibrant and outgoing young man who was staying in the UK for one year to improve his English. He quickly settled in at Chew Valley School, making a huge impression on everyone he met.

He died in a car accident in February this year.

All funds raised will go to the Plymouth Hospital Trust ICU where he was looked after before he passed away.
