Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At 16,000 feet Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest freestanding mountain in the world. Apparently I’m climbing it in September 2011!

Why am I doing it? Clearly, it’s because I’m a bit mad! Also because I have always wanted to do something for charity, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I have chosen to raise funds for Amnesty International because they work tirelessly towards upholding rights, several of which people like you and I are fortunate to enjoy and therefore take for granted. However, in countries such as Burma, people are denied of fairness and freedom on a daily basis. Let’s help towards letting every human being live life with dignity. Your contributions will go a long way towards ensuring that Amnesty's work continues across the world.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now!
