-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On June 8th 2011 I was diagnosed HIV positive!
In the weeks and months after my diagnosis The Terrence Higgins Trust provided me with free invaluable support and guidance through group sessions and counselling, which was instrumental in helping me come to terms with my diagnosis.
To mark the year anniversary of my diagnosis and to show my appreciation for the fantastic service they provide I am attempting to raise £5000 by cycling 300 miles from London to Paris.
My hope is that this will go a small way to ensure that they can continue to provide these services to many more in future years to come.
Thank you Terrence Higgins Trust for bringing me back life!
And thank you in advance for any donations you are able to make. Every penny goes a long way in helping those living with HIV and to help prevent the spead of this chronic disease which once again is becoming an epidemic in the UK.

Don't forget you can also sponsor me by sending a text to 70070 - quoting code 'SHAN86' and amount you wish to sponsor me (£1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10).
