Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

"Fight for a life free of pain"

The reason I am  running is standing next to me in this photo. My clever, brave, beautiful, talented daughter Sohana who has battled EB for 20 years. She and all others with it deserve another life, a life free of pain. On Sunday 2nd October, I will be running the #LondonMarathon in my #marathon challenge! My knees and toes stopped #marathon a month but this will be the 17th in total! It is going to be slow and  very painful but the pain will be nothing compared to the pain that EB sufferers cope with on a daily basis. If I get blisters - they will heal. EB blisters do not.

EB should not exist. Please help me 'Fight for a life free of pain' for Sohana and all sufferers of EB.

Clinical trials have started around the world aiming to treat EB. A very important gene corrected skin graft trial has started in Paris which is just one of the projects funded by Cure EB. Please visit our website to find out more...

If you are around - please come and laugh, wave or more likely scrape me off the tarmac at the end...
