My family, many of my friends and acquaintances, even some of my clients, already know that I have been in training over the last few months for my first ever marathon. Now, with less than 3 weeks left to the Coniston Marathon on the 4th June, I have decided to run this challenge for The Good Life Orphanage charity.

I became aware of this charity through the lovely couple, Mary and Kevin, that have allowed me to maintain [and expand] a vegetable plot in their garden for the last 4/5 years. I often mention to friends how they have helped to set up this wonderful orphanage in Kenya and would like my fundraising page to be a nod of appreciation for their generosity in sharing their land and of admiration for their compassion and commitment to the children they help.
