Story
My Dad died of Cancer in September 2008 and since then I have been raising money for Macmillan. Over the years I have taken part in treks and walks raising much needed funds. This year to mark the 10 years since my Dad passed away, I've decided to take on my biggest challenge by raising £10,000. That's £1,000 for every year he's not been here to see his grandchildren grow up into great young adults. I've taken myself out of my comfort zone on several occasions, all in his memory and I do believe that when I've wanted to give up - he's the voice in my head that says 'You can do this. One step in front of the other. Keep going.'
With this in mind I'm going to organise / take part in various activities this year including treks, walks, quiz nights and anything else that I can do to raise the money. Who knows this may include a run and for those who don't know me - 'I don't do running!'
So any donations big or small to reach this ambitious target will be very much appreciated.
