I must be mad - but I'm so excited too.  A friend told my husband about the event - it's a one mile swim across Lake Windmere, one of our most famous and beautiful lakes, he then said "Sharon will do it too" so here I am.  I have not been swimming properly for 7 years so you could say I need a little training so off to the pool I went tonight.
