Many of you may not realise that Winchester District Citizen’s Advice Bureau (CAB) is a charity and needs to raise funds locally. We help thousands of people every year with queries that include housing, benefits, employment, debt, relationship breakdown and consumer issues. It is a free service, open to anyone, staffed with volunteer advisers.
In our bureau, we have a day rota system for manning the telephone, face to face, web chat and email service. A group of advisers have decided in the light of Team GB’s cycling success to raise some money for Winchester District CAB to help keep our service open. This intrepid group of 12 novice riders will all set off together to complete 100kms overnight round London which will be a novel and significant challenge. Please support us.
