I am doing the Bolton Half Iron man, the Manchester half marathon and the 6 day lake district challenge. The Bolton half Iron Man will be the most challenging athletic experience I have attempted especially when 18 months ago I couldn't even put my head under water. 

In addition to taking on the 6 day lake district trek I will also be helping others that find the trek  challenging. 

I hope my efforts will result in raising funds for this charity that is so close to my heart.

By providing grants for vital, specialised equipment to families in need, we aim to help give these children more independence and the best possible quality of life – from adapted trikes so they can ride a bike for the first time to a powered wheelchair so a young person can get around university easier.
