Birmingham International Marathon 2017 · 15 October 2017 ·

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

On the 28th May 2016 we lost our beautiful mum and grandma to Dementia.

She was a loving, kind, generous person who made such a positive impact on all our lives. Last year, at the time of her passing, we promised we would run a half/full marathon in her memory.

Here we are a year on, trying to make good on that promise and hopefully with your help, no matter how big or small your donation, we can raise funds for Dementia UK at the same time.

The target is £1000 and in aid of Dementia UK:

'We are the specialist dementia nursing charity that is here for the whole family. Our nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia.'

Full Marathon: Sharondeep

Half Marathon: Suki, Amandeep, Harpavan, Bavneet & Sharnpreet.
