The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

My aunt Amrit was diagnosed with bowel cancer in April 2005.I   Amrit fought hard to beat the cancer but lost her battle last July.  The last 5 weeks of her life was spent at the Macmillan Centre, Frenchey Hospital in Bristol.  Macmillan, are in my opinion the unsung hero's who provided professional and compassionate support not only for Amrit but the rest of the family.

On 25th March 2007 I am running the Bath Half Marathon to raise money  for Macmillan.  This is my first (only!) half marathon. Training is harder than I imagined - I need every donation to spur me on!!!!!   Every penny will help
