I'm taking on the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro in a few months time and intend to raise as much money and awareness as possible for two very worthy charities.

The first is Guide Dogs which I'm sure most of you will know is very close to my heart. Both of my parents were born totally blind and I have been fortunate enough to witness and benefit first hand the fantastic and life changing work that The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association do every day. 

The second charity is The Sick Children's Trust who offer "Homes from Home" at 7 major hospitals in the UK, where families can stay free of charge for as long as they need whilst their child is undergoing medical treatment. A friend's personal experience of such a critical, terrifying and life changing situation when their newborn daughter entered the world to battle life threatening heart problems was all I needed to be certain that The Sick Children's Trust need as much support as possible to continue carrying out such incredible work.

Four days up, 2 days down, 6,000m high and no shower for a week! Please dig deep and help me to take on the most challenging feat yet.

Your money will go such a long way to help give hope and freedom back to those at their most vulnerable.
