Hi there, first I would like to say what a great honour it is to be one of the five chosen to run the Virgin London Marathon 2015 on behalf of The Douglas Macmillan Hospice. 

I think it’s safe to say that we all know what amazing work this place does and the support it provides are second to none, but this wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for people like me and you doing something for them.

Most of us have probably been affected by cancer one way or another and this year it affected me. My mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in April this year. 

It came as a massive shock to us all but the one person who stayed strongest throughout was my old dear.

Through her sheer determination to not let this keep her down, but instead to carry on and remain positive, it has been my inspiration for taking part in what has to be the toughest challenge I have accepted to date.

All I ask is for you to donate what you can in helping me reach my target, as it all goes towards a great charity.

Friday 21st November coffee and cake morning being held at The Orange Tree Bar and Grill Trent Vale everyone is more than welcome all proceeds are going towards my overall target.

Also I shall be taking part in a sponsored shave as the beard is currently making me look homeless.

Events for 2015

Non stop cycle during service hours. I shall be doing a non stop static bike ride starting at 12 noon and finishing at around midnight this is going be a great test of endurance and stamina please pop down and show your support. This shall be held outside main entrance at The Orange Tree. Date yet to be confirmed.

After the success of the last one, we shall be holding another Coffee and Cake morning on 10th April at the Orange Tree Bar and Grill.
