Shaun Voluteers in Tanzania With Raleigh International

Raleigh ICS · 31 December 2020 ·
Mambo everyone!
Thank you for your support! This Spring I will be participating in a Raleigh International Expedition in Tanzania. Before I leave, I am trying to raise more than £800 to support Raleigh’s work.
Raleigh International is a sustainable development charity that challenges and inspires volunteers from around the world to work with communities living in poverty. They work in remote, rural areas to improve access to safe water and sanitation, build community resilience, to sustainably manage natural resources and to protect vulnerable environments.
I hope this program will help in my understanding of water access and sanitation issues on a global scale. I plan on studying hydrogeology next year and this will give me an idea of some of the issues I may work on in the future.
I will be joining other volunteers from around the world to undertake a ten week programme in Tanzania. Any donations will help Raleigh to continue to create lasting change and to transform lives in some of the world’s poorest communities. I think it’s important to let you know that you will not be financing my expenses, as the program is fully sponsored by the UK government through DFID (Department for International Development).
Asante!
