We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2019 we have 33 colleagues from across Telefonica cycling from the Head office in Spain to the UK head office in Slough, a grueling ride covering over 400 miles over 4-5 days.

We are raising funds for our Charity partner - NSPCC

An additional Challenge has been added, We are to cover 150,000Km between now and October. If we accomplish both challenges, Telefonica Foundation will donate €15,000 to NSPCC...

You can all sign up to this challenge and register your km, by either Walking, Running, Cycling or Swimming..

A quote form a parent using the system:

“I feel like this online threat to our children is huge, and I don’t think people are aware enough. We don’t know what’s influencing our children, even inside our own homes. They’re growing into their personalities and they are going to do things that surprise us – sometimes brilliant, sometimes not brilliant – and we, as parents, have very little control. All we can do is just try and help them as best we can. As a mum, I was devastated by what had happened, but the support that I got from the NSPCC and O2 was fantastic – it’s a really excellent resource.”

O2 recognises that online safety as one of the top concerns for our customers and particularly parents across the UK. We have specifically focused on our partnership with the NSPCC (Stay Safe Online Campaign).

A Big THANK YOU for our corporate supporters who have helped make this happen..

--------------------------------------
