I have plucked up the courage (after fretting for the last 3 weeks) to share my story and hopefully help others. 

I am raising money for Sands by walking 310,000 steps in October in memory of our angel Blueberry Noor who was born sleeping on 7 Sept 2019 at 21 weeks.

We lost our precious baby when I was 5 months pregnant. We had gone for our routine scan. Our biggest dilemma at the time being whether to find out if our boys were going to have the sister they so wanted. 

Within seconds, our world came crashing down around us. There was no heartbeat. I didn't understand how this could be happening. How were we going to break it to our boys? Sands helped us to find the words to explain to the boys that Blueberry (as we had affectionately named bump) had died. 

It has been an immensely traumatic and sad time for us. A year on, we are still healing as a family. In Noor's memory, we want to raise awareness about babyloss and money for Sands to help other bereaved families.
