3 members of the Sheffield Drug and Alcohol Action Team are taking part in a sponsored ‘Sleep Out’ to help raise awareness of homelessness in the city of Sheffield. Jo Daykin Goodall, Director of Substance Misuse Strategy, Tracey Ford, Communities Development Officer and Helen Phillips, Alcohol Strategy and Commissioning Officer will be spending the night outdoors on the Cathedral grounds to raise awareness of homelessness in the city of Sheffield and at the same time raise money for the Cathedral Archer Project which supports over 75 homeless and vulnerable adults every day in Sheffield.
We know this is a difficult time for many people but would be really grateful if you could sponsor us and this very important cause. No matter how small the amount it will be gratefully received and will be used to help the homeless access the food, clothing and support they need.
The three of us are sharing a Just Giving Page to make it easier for friends, colleagues and anyone else who wants to, sponsor us as a collective.
The sleep out will take place from 7.30pm on Tuesday 20th September 2011 to 7.30am on Wednesday 21st September 2011.
