Story

Fast Fashion is the drive to increase profits and get products into our high street shops faster and faster. The drive to sell more, consume more, make more, waste more. This, however, has disastrous consequences for the people who make our clothes. The Six Items Challenge is a fashion fast. It is designed to challenge fast fashion and raise vital funds for our work fighting for the rights of garment workers. How does it work? The idea is simple. I'm selecting six items of clothing from my wardrobe and pledge to wear only these every day for the month of April. I'm asking my friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to sponsor me. .

Treating people fairly and with respect is important - we are much more than the labels we wear.
