Team: Remembering Ian Holtum
Dear fellow thespians
Thank you so much for joining us on Saturday and helping to make it such a memorable evening.
We really enjoyed ourselves and as you know each year when we put on one of our musical soirees, we look to raise money for a worthy cause. This year we wanted to do something in memory of Ian Holtum, a dear friend, who for many years performed in our productions and who tragically passed away at a much too early age due to a rare cancer which with better medical awareness could have been treated.
When we asked Sarah if we might link this year's fundraising efforts to Ian, she immediately suggested Sarcoma UK as being both relevant to Ian's case and a charity which is doing very important work in improving the understanding and treatment of this cancer. As Sarah said so movingly, Ian was struck down by a rare but treatable form of cancer. His tragic case is exactly what Sarcoma UK is trying to tackle through research, information and support.
We do hope that you will give generously.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks again for joining us onboard and we look forward to seeing you soon, at a venue yet to be announced!
