Established in 1937, our mission has remained to sustain and increase opportunities for people with disabilities with rewarding employment, with an occupation that enables them to contribute to society through work. Fundraising is crucial to ensure the long term security of Yateley Industries.

Story

After my last gruelling 38 mile Ultra challenge, I wanted to do something different - and faster - for my new charity, so I’m going to try and run a PB of a marathon in under 3 hours on 25th September at Goodwood motor circuit. As a warm up, I’m also going to be attempting to win (yikes!) the Twilight Runway Challenge (10k) at Blackbushe airport on the 17th September. Please give what you can to help this wonderful charity.

Yateley Industries has been through a lot of turbulent times in recent years through no fault of their own and we are working our socks off to stabilise and grow again. The world needs more charities like us and I’d love to raise enough money to be able to rebuild some of the communal spaces here so the staff and residents can begin to reclaim and enjoy their homes and workplaces once again.

Yateley Industries for the Disabled is a charity that supports people with disabilities and our aim is to encourage each individual to fulfil their own potential, both at work and at home. We achieve this by providing paid, meaningful employment in our supported workshop, charity shop and our assisted accommodation where applicable. We employ up to 85 people with disabilities and provide adapted accommodation for up to 47 residents on site.
