Ride London 2022 - 100 Mile Cycling Challnege - For Better Mental Health

Ride London 2022 · 29 May 2022 ·
Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Paranoia, OCD, Bi-polar, Phobias and Panic disorder are just some of the mental health difficulties that a lot of us could experience at some point in our life either directly or indirectly through friends and family.
Mental health difficulties can be caused as a result of:
- childhood abuse
- trauma or neglect
- loneliness
- discrimination
- poverty
- long-term physical health condition
- unemployment
- housing issues
- drug issues
- DV
- and bullying to name a few
There isn’t a cure for mental health difficulties but it can be managed and this requires longer term support. The best type of treatment is a combination of psychotherapy and medication. In addition arts and creative therapy and complimentary and alternative therapies can also help a person to recover.
If you or someone you know battled mental health difficulties, you’ll know how tough it can be on the individual, their family & friends and how vital it is to get the right support and treatment.
On May 29th I will be cycling 100 miles as part of Ride London 2022 to raise funds for Mind, a charity that offers some of the best mental health services in the country.
Support this much needed charity, make a small donation and bring calmness to those in crisis.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
