Story

On the 1st of July (Cherwell School Sports Day!), we will spend 8hrs sat in a bath of cold baked beans on the sports field, to raise much needed funds for The Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary (Sherry HATES baked beans!)
The Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary in Stadhampton has provided, and continues to provide, hundreds of abandoned animals with a second chance. At any one time the Sanctuary can be looking after several hundred animals. At the time of writing this, on site they have 110 dogs, over 150 cats and a number of rabbits. The Animal Sanctuary exists to provide a refuge for animals who have been mistreated, neglected, or abandoned and for those whose owners are no longer able or willing to care for them. Every effort is made to find stable and loving adoptive homes but where this is not possible, the Sanctuary will become their ‘home for life’ and they have a ‘no destruction’ policy for all healthy animals.
The sanctuary only have sufficient funds to last just under 12mths. The number of animals currently in the sanctuary are at an all time high, and they are rapidly running out of space and money.
Please, please donate anything you can spare. Every single penny you give will go to the sanctuary to help them continue their amazing work. WE CANNOT LET THE SANCTUARY BE FORCED TO CLOSE.
Thank you.
