Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The 4 of us will be attempting to complete the RideLondon100 mile cycle ride through the capital and Surrey countryside. This will be the first time any of us will complete a 100 mile ride.

We'll be cycling on behalf of a charity organisation, 'Emmaus UK'. Emmaus is a homeless charity with a difference. They don't just give people a bed for the night; they offer a home, meaningful work and a sense of belonging. There are 29 Emmaus communities spread across the UK supporting 750 formally homeless people, companions. All companions work full-time and there is work for everyone in the shops and Bistro, offering a fresh start in life with the support of the community around them. One of these communities is in the village where we live, Emmaus Village Carlton and we get to see the amazing support they provide to the companions and local communities. Emmaus Village Carlton also has a personal meaning to us.

If you can help support us in any way we would all be very grateful. Thank you.
